My name is Kailee Edwards, and I am a married stay-at-home mom with two small children. Embroidery has become my creative outlet and a way to express my love for my family.
Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I was a teacher. While I loved my job, I made the difficult decision to leave the classroom to be there for my children during their early years. It was a big change, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Being able to witness every milestone and be present for my children's growth has been incredibly rewarding.
During this time, I discovered embroidery as a way to channel my creativity and keep my mind engaged. I started with simple designs, stitching names and small motifs onto baby blankets and onesies for my own children.
